Correlation between Child Abuse and School Refusal among Primary School Children in Benha City

Child abuse is a serious problem that results in devastating and long lasting damage to individualand community at large. global issue affects children of all ages, gender, races, andethnicities varied socio economic classes linked causes child morbidity, mortality,school refusal educational dropout. Aim the study: This study aimed identify thecorrelation between school among primary Benha City,Qaliubya Governorate. Sample: The sample consisted 400 students from 5th 6th gradeof education Alshahid Abdal-Monem Riad School. Research Design: A descriptivecorrelational design was utilized this study. Tools: In two tools were used for datacollection: I) structured interviewing questionnaire included socio-demographic data thestudied their parents as well about different types abuse. II)School Refusal Assessment Scale. Results: revealed that, near half studiedchildren have moderate level family, high childabuse less than them mild behavior. Also, therewas highly statistically positive correlation total refusalscales city.
